Staking out territory for abuses in order to gain advantage; Protecting and expanding that territory; Direct robbery, or imposition of “protection” racket; Use of threats/violence/murder; Echelon of underbosses, capos, and foot soldiers; Top Man “suggests,” and others carry out; Bribes that go both ways; Blackmail, Kompromat; Lies, obfuscation, avoidance of accountability; Consiglieres (corrupt legal counselors); Evasion and corruption of legal systems; Shell companies to hide money; Money-laundering; Indifference to human life — killing even family members who offend; Overvaluing or devaluing products to sell at profit; Wealth and power, ostentatious; Underlings as loyalists/pawns; Menacing opponents’ or victims’ closest relatives to have leverage.

Votes of approval are not necessary. The target is always domination. Stealing by any means is the answer. The Don will take what he wants and instruct his underlings to do the same. Deluded, complicit, or frightened underlings compose half of Congress, part of the Justice System, and millions of Americans. This Diary is an observation, not a declaration of defeat. The Mafias of the world invite us to defeat them, and we must begin on our own soil.
