A Federal Government Could Have Prevented The Current Disasters In Israel and Gaza. [1]

If we had elected a common federal government in Israel Palestine a year ago , the entire relationship between Palestinians and Israelis would have been different. We would have had Palestinians and Israeli’s Parliament members representing their own districts including the area of Gaza and Southern Israel. We would have had communications with each other based on respect, dignity and common interest. It would have meant a message to the Israeli and Palestinian government including Hamas that the people themselves want peace. It would have meant joint legislation, joint budget and joint projects giving hope and dignity to the people of Israel and Palestine. In fact, if we had a federal government elected in 1947 we would not have had the expulsion of Palestinians, we would not have had the Nakba and probably not have had the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Jews, Muslims, and Christian could live together in peace with respect.
