Trump Suggests "It's Gonna be a Bloodbath" if He is Not Elected in November [1]

Trump’s violent rhetoric just keeps ratcheting up. Whether it is calling for the deportation of Latinos, saying immigrants ‘poison the blood of our country’, or glorifying 1/6 and calling the participants ‘hostages’, he revels in the specter of violence being committed for him.

Today, he further escalated, suggesting that if he is not elected in November, it will be a bloodbath for the country.

If this seems familiar, remember that he has seeded the ground for violence before. Who could forget his call for the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” at the debate? And don’t forget the speech he gave on January 6 to whip the mob into a frenzy and guide them to attack the Capitol building.

We must take Trump and the GOP seriously when it comes to these calls for violence. They are itching for it, especially if there are counter-protestors nearby to mix it up with. We must fight back, and the way to fight back is make people aware of the stakes of this election. To do that, the Democratic Party from top to bottom needs to raise funds.
