Senator Britt's Lies Must Be Confronted. [1]

Angry Democratic Women must give a response. Guys too!

I’m reading about the huge lie Senator Britt told in her GOP Response and getting angry about how terribly Senator Britt has treated Ms. Karla Jacinto Romero. Senator Britt completely twisted Ms. Romero’s story around to serve her own interests. Now I want want WANT a Democratic Senator to bring Ms. Romero with him/her into the Senate Chambers and have Ms. Romero shame Senator Britt. Or have Ms. Romero tell her story again, and it should shame Senator Britt. (Yeah. It should. That might not happen. Eyeroll.)

This is not something that should disappear with the next news cycle. This shows the public what you get when you vote. It’s the difference between voting Democrat or voting Republican. Truth or lie?

As you may have read, the first time Ms, Romero spoke to Congress, it was before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Global Human Rights in May 14, 2015. This time it should be in the Senate, where Senator Britt can be addressed in person.

I decided to take action first, and then write about it. A few minutes ago I filled out a contact page to VP Harris, and sent it. As President of the Senate she could be a big help. I’m sure she would want to do this. I also sent a letter to my Senator, Mark Kelly. If Ms. Harris and Mr. Kelly decided to get this done, made all the arrangements very quickly, and then advised the other Democrats in Congress that this was happening, I am sure they would all support it.

I asked Senator Kelly to point out that Ms. Romero’s testimony nine years ago was intended to help people seeking asylum, and Senator Britt completely twisted that around to attempt to effect the complete opposite. Her version vilified people in the United States, and insinuated that that Ms. Romero’s abuse had happened recently and was the result of President Biden’s Border Policy.

All lies.

I would be very happy if this happened because of my e-mails, but I don’t want to grab all the happiness...

So, WHO WANTS IN ON THE ACTION? Ha, Ha, Ha, Yes, You sure do!

Be sure to ask them when she is scheduled to appear, so you can plan to watch it.
