Palm Springs Section 14 Survivors Need Your Help [1]

Hello to the Daily Kos community. I come to you again asking for help. As always, you can read about the Section 14 Survivors Committee and the cause that we struggle for here:

The picture above shows one of the three billboards paid for by grants and donations by supporters of the Section 14 Committee. These billboards and other actions are expensive so, as always, any donation to the cause will be greatly appreciated. A page dedicated to donations can be accessed at the Section 14 website.

But, beyond donations we need help from those of you who would like to stand with the Section 14 Survivors as a supporter, friend and ally. You can sign our petition at the website. By signing the petition you will show you alliance with those of us who struggle with this historical wrong. We need your signature to show the Palm Springs City Council that our support is not only based in the community that was wronged, but is also shared by those anywhere in the world who see wrong and want to help correct it.

You are also encouraged to share the petition with friends, colleagues, students and any other acquaintances or strangers that could help us spread the word and send our message. There is strength in numbers and we need as many of you as possible and your strength.
