A Box Score on Biden

I don't know how one scores

political accomplishments

ala baseball and its stats,

but in a crucial situations

I want Biden up at bat.

What a captain of the Nation,

a leader of the world!

Let me suggest...

Biden's first term presidential success

is akin to a Willie Mays

over the shoulder catch

and Ted Williams lifetime average

of batting at point three four four

and Hank Aaron's home run reach

of seven hundred fifty-five

and the World Series perfect game

with Yankees's Larson on the mound.

A second term will bring us more

– to mix a metaphor,

think Peyton Manning's Broncos winning team

24 to 10 Super Bowl score.

What a captain of the Nation,

what a leader of the world!

He's my guy today,

he's got my vote

come November '24,

let me repeat,

as I've said before –

'cause it makes my smile widen

"I'm siden' with Biden,

"Go, Joe, Go!"
