I voted for President Biden in the Michigan primary [1]

There are a few different ways I could have voted in the Michigan primary. For starters, I had to choose a party.

I could have voted Republican. I did that in 2016, to vote for John Kasich. That was a waste of a vote. Even if Nikki Haley had a chance of winning the Michigan primary, she's not going to win the Republican nomination.

The other choice is a supposed billionaire who has probably run out of classified documents to sell that could pay even one of the judgments against him.

Or I could have voted Republican uncommitted. That would have meant what exactly?

On the Democrats' side there was a white man whose name I already forgot. The only advantage he has over President Biden is being younger. But he doesn't have President Biden's record.

Or I could have voted for Marianne Williamson, she might be good for a few Saturday Night Live sketches.

There was also the idea of voting Democrat uncommitted to send a message of disapproval over President Biden's seemingly unconditional support of Israel. But wouldn't that message be better communicated in a letter to him?

I even thought about sitting this one out. Ultimately I decided that any vote not for President Biden is a vote for a Trump dictatorship.

And besides, President Biden has accomplished a lot for the American people, most of which is plainly ignored by the mainstream media.

Polls will be open to 8 PM Eastern.

Unrelated note: there will be a meeting about a new hotel on Detroit's riverfront at 6 PM. The meeting will be held at Huntington Place (formerly Cobo Hall).
