Just VOTE! [1]

In 2020 before the elections, I purchased a VOTE necklace and vowed to wear it until Biden was elected. Then he was. And then I decided to wear it until I felt confident and secure that this country was moving away from fascism. In 2020 67% of eligible voters (161 million) voted. I am confident that if 100% of eligible voters voted, the scale would weight on the side of reason and love for America. But if I am wrong, at least I’ll know what the US in 2024 is made of. I was force to leave one country which military government tortured and killed those that disagreed with oppressive and unfair laws. I don’t want to leave the US.

As an immigrant, I chose to be an American and will continue to wear my necklace as a reminder that nothing else matters. This is my country now, and voting makes me accountable for the outcome, for how the future unfolds.

Red states and their laws are an ominous prediction of what will come if Trump becomes President for the last time, not because it will be 4 years only, but because it might be forever. Republicans’ attitude and preference for the candidate that insults vice president candidates (does Tim Scott realize that he was humiliated in front of the world, wearing a wide smile in return?), is Putin’s BFF or his American bitch, admires all dictators, is a racist, and will practice nepotism to guarantee unconditional loyalty around him, as the king, the boss, the autocrat, the asshole he has always being, tells all. Unconditional loyalty is the opposite of freedom. The freedom to disagree, for example. To protect their money, guns, and god, Republicans are selling their souls and along with that, America, the world’s role model of democracy and freedom. WTF Republicans??

VOTE. If you get nothing done this year and are eligible to vote, vote. If you have influence over unregistered voters, exercise your influence for good.
