Probably most of the Kossacks have already figured it out. For those looking carefully, yes, that outline is actually from a photo of the person in question.

x YouTube Video

But, obviously, our videos aren’t just for the informed, such as yourself. They are for a wide range of people, who require a wide range of approaches. Here we’re dealing with curiosity and intrigue to grab the less engaged viewers.

We considered all of you as our (unfortunately, unpaid) political consultants. Since our first post, you’ve offered us great advice. Much of it has been applied with positive impact. So, we post our videos here both for exposure, and for that great advice.

Over the next weeks and months, we will be experimenting with a variety video types, and video formats, and related promotional tools. And we really count on you, the Daily Kos faithful, the Kossacks, to help us navigate these treacherous waters.

Therefore, when watching this video, don’t only consider how it works for you. But how it might work for other viewers. We know you don’t mince words. And we don’t want you to.

The majority the people working for our organizations come from the entertainment industry. So, sure, they’re familiar with praise. We have in our midst people who’ve worked with the directors and producers of movies like “The Aviator,” “There’s Something About Mary,” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” And television projects like “Star Trek: Picard,” “Sanditon,” and Netflix’s recent cross-cultural hit from 2023, “The Chosen One.”

So, yes, we’ve had praise. But we’ve also had our share of criticism. We’ve developed thick skins. And our organizations daily ridiculing and threats from the MAGA folks. So, your critiques, however blunt, will be looked at more from their content than their tone.

Now, as always, if you appreciate our efforts …
