Some thoughts: Come On Fellow Democrats! In words of T-Swizzle "You Need to Calm Down". [1]

If anything recently has proven the decline of journalism, its the coverage of the so-called bombshell Hur Report, that according to some typical bedwetting democrats will cost Biden the election, in February. Guys, I know how complacency is a sin after 2016 but to be honest crapping your pants doesn’t help either. I personally don’t understand the freakout. Biden being old to most people is like water being wet, he is. Last summer there was a lot of doomerism about his age until Trump started making a fool of himself and this isn’t a new “issue” but rather a SURPRISEE!! I’M BACK! moment of something literally everyone knew about.

He will win. I know it. I know it’s February but don’t let the doomerism and the backwards, billionaire-owned, elitist, out-of-touch, bothsides-y, media tell you this man is headed to defeat. Just look at the republican party right now, a nearly bankrupt divided and chaotic group of extremists who have views shared with about 40% of the population. Trump has a ceiling and he’s never broken it. RFK jr. will take away from trump, No Labels will flop bigtime, Trump will be convicted, Cornel West will have problems getting on the ballot and the people voting for him probably weren’t going to vote for Biden anyway (that doesn’t mean we should court some of them, though), and Trump will likely be convicted. To alter a famous quote by a great former president, who will ELECTRIFY many folks this year, “Don’t Whine! Work!”

Remember February 2020? When Biden was on the brink? He was a politician who’s career seemed to be flashing before his eyes. Bernie was going to be the nominee and Trump had a good chance of being elected because of his “roaring” economy. People laughed. I got Biden pins in the mail the same day he lost New Hampshire big, but I knew he would win. I really want everyone to have this energy, and to be honest the “hand-wringing” “five alarm fire” bullshit makes us look like fools when we’re the organized majority party.



So why don’t we all have a great year, relax, have some yummy candy tomorrow, potentially with a significant other, and make a plan this spring or summer to help end Donald Trump’s political career. I know I will.
