A Jewish State is Bad for Jews [1]

The experiment of a Jewish state is a failure.

The state of Israel was originally conceived and established as a safe haven for Jews, in response to widespread antisemitism, pogroms, and the Holocaust. Despite the fact that Palestinians constituted the majority in Palestine, the Jewish population disregarded this and forcibly expelled 750,000 Palestinians in order to create a Jewish state, leading to a trajectory of religious conflict. Since its inception 75 years ago, Israel has been involved in more wars than any other country in the Middle East, and possibly the world. Consequently, thousands of Jews have lost their lives. Instead of providing security and peace, Israel has become a trap for the Jewish people, and it is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. The ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas serves as a reminder of Israel's inability to protect its Jewish population. To divert the course of religious conflict, Israel and Palestine should establish a secular democracy, with both Palestinians and Israelis as equals, and a clear separation between government and religion. A unified federal government would hold both parties accountable for the future of the Israeli and Palestinian people. This would be a significant step towards resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Furthermore, if this conflict is resolved, neighboring countries that are currently hostile towards Israel would lose their political motivation to continue hostilities in the region.
