So many of us were inundated these past weeks with snow, deep cold or raging flooding rain storms, for me though, snow, very very white extra white outside and then cold reeaaall real cold, brrr, first

Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.

Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.

Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.

Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.

There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw.

So mom was in a hustle, big storm coming she said, must stock up on supplies,

and so the groceries came in — mom said we may not know the next time she can get out, lots of putting away. I had to wait for my dinner till mom was finished, mom timed it just right only a few minutes late as she took stock to insure that all was in order.

Then she warned there will be lots of snow and very, very cold possibly like Wisp kitty has never experienced, power might even go out, best hope not.

Then the snow came so very white as she warned like I’ve never seen, then the cold, so cold mom kept the bi-fold door between the kitchen and back hall tightly closed had me thinking maybe she was hiding another cat. But no, she let me check the old family room to be sure and verrryy cold so you can bet I came up stairs really quick.

After sitting almost a week, mom’s car started right away, she was so relieved but then as recovery from the storm was beginning in earnest, her internet provider went down--- for 6 days no less, mom was really, really upset. She was calling and yelling at them everyday they kept using the storm as an excuse, mom told them she worked at a telephone company for 22 years and storms like this one are common in January and shouldn’t disrupt service to this extent. Then a supervisor called to say it would only be another 48 hours.

So mom gave them another 48 hours then turned on her computer that morning two hours before the deadline, her phone fully charged, waiting to make another tirade against such inept service, as she walked away to finish some decluttering, the computer was fixed, service came up immediately.

Hoooorah mom. Mom, mom, does that mean we can have some more turkey to celebrate? You know just to celebrate. Huh mom?
