A Tufted Titmouse [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-01-22 I caught one of “our” tufted titmice eating a sunflower seed. This is a stop-frame video with somewhat lame music (feel free to ignore — it’s from Adobe’s free stock clips). One of the difficulties with capturing these little birds is their speed. By the time I’d have set up a tripod, which is absolutely necessary with a 600mm lens video, they’d have finished and been gone. I can, and did, align and crop the individual frames from my camera to give the effect, if not the actuality, of motion. At the risk of being gauche, I’ve started a kickstarter book of nature photography and would love it if you’d take a look.
