TX cruelty towards migrants [1]

Here in TX some of us are still mourning the drowning death of a woman and her two children at Eagle Pass TX—as reported by Texas Tribune, TX National Guard barred federal border patrol from access to the only jetty there into the Rio Grande, so they couldn’t be rescued. TX is disputing that of course. Then, on another note, the IL governor is protesting Abbot’s sending migrants up to Chicago (one assumes with no winter clothing) with no advance notice during the winter months: www.wptv.com/…

unfortunately the din of campaign reporting is now upon us, so this cruelty may be barely noticed.
