Just Because Tyrant Trump Loses in 2024 Doesn't Mean We Can Rest! The Fight Has Just Begun! [1]

In the age of IG (Instant Gratification), where the Internet, streaming and an endless variety of entertainment is available at the push of botton it’s hard for many to wrap their heads around the fact that the fight to preserve our Democracy is far from over.

I predict it will take decades to repair the damage an angry and disturbed former Reality TV personality has done to our Democracy and way of life.

Yes, defeating Dictator Trump is absolutely something to jump up and down about and to celebrate like we prevented the end of the world!

But once you take that well earned vacation after Election Day we must regroup to prevent the next horde of Barbarians from taking over Democracy and destroying our precious way of life.

Analizing electoral politics, fundraising and GOTV is what Daily Kos does brilliantly. But we also need to expand beyond that!

I wish I had the answer! But something is very wrong in our society when millions of Americans (a third of registered Republicans) still believe that a washed-up Reality TV show host won the past election!

Making matters worse millions of Americans want a obnoxious, whining, perpetually angry, ignorant, arrogent meglomaniac, mean-spirited hatemonger as their President tells me our work is cut out for us!

We need to expand the battlefield beyond the excruciatingly important electoral poltical work we do brilliantly on Daily Kos!
