Three young women go on national television and speak the words:

“Donald J. Trump is a threat to Democracy as we know it.”

They admit to being fearful of retaliation by his cult, but they all feel obligated to speak. Their words carry some insight and knowledge from their prior positions, but they point out that many others are more qualified and have far more to offer.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the Republican party, including most of the presidential candidates and the vast majority of the members of Congress, remain MUTE on the clear and present danger represented by Trump and his mobs.

Never in American history has there been such a vivid contrast between courage and cowardice, and between honor and dishonor to the Pledge of Allegiance!
