Didn't Trump Recently Say He Would Welcome A Trial About The 2020 Election? [1]

Sometimes it is getting difficult for me to tell the difference between parody and reality. I seem to recollect that recently I saw a report that Donald Trump had said that he would welcome a chance to defend in court his claim that he actually won the 2020 Presidential Election. Didn’t Trump say that? Or did I dream it? Or am I mixing up reality with an SNL sketch?

If Trump said that he would welcome the chance to prove he want the 2020 election, why is he squawking about the new indictment? Shouldn’t he be celebrating the opportunity to go to court and prove he won the 2020 election? If Trump can prove he won the 2020 election, wouldn’t that be a complete defense against all the charges in the new indictment?
