I came across a contest for the best bathroom in the US. It was in my local news, because a bathroom in Nashville is in the running and Nashville has won before. You can vote here www.bestrestroom.com/… You can also nominate a bathroom for next year and see past winners here www.bestrestroom.com.

There was a time when I went to all the bathrooms in Nashville and anywhere else I went. I knew them well. For whatever reason, I don’t use public bathrooms that much anymore, but I will say that I don’t hesitate to use a men's room if there is someone in the women's. I really thought that by now, 2023 for fucks sake, that we would just have bathrooms for all.

None of the bathrooms in the contest this year have my vote. There are 3 here in town that I like and may nominate for next year. The best of them is in a historic building downtown. There is a separate sitting room, which is a must for a top-notch bathroom. It also has several really cool basket things that have everything you might need in a bathroom; Q-tips, alcohol swabs, mini bottles of lotion and mouthwash, tampons, and I can’t remember what else, but that is by far the best bathroom in the US!
