Dropping a Dad Joke [1]

Heard a dad joke today about the Rover tool Scanning Habitable Environments with Raman & Luminescence for Organics & Chemicals (SHERLOC). The Mars Rover was using SHERLOC to test rocks that had been exposed to water in the past for organic chemicals. An article in Arstechnica pointed even through SHERLOC had found organic compounds that was not proof of life.

The Joke was in the comment section :

Disappointingly, despite organic material being present, no shit was found by SHERLOC.

If you want to see the cool science on this look at the article on arstechnica.com or go to the NASA site to read up on SHERLOC, I was only here to deliver a dad joke that I liked. Which is safer than me trying to explain organic chemistry to anyone with more than an elementary understanding (IE I am an engineer and would get it wrong)
