Experimental kitchen garden in a hot climate [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2023-06-25 Above is a photo of my kitchen garden next to our house. Many of the crops are experimental. The garden includes a rose and herb garden in the center. Much of the garden is newly planted this year, so immature and not very productive. Trees, perennials, and annuals are interspersed throughout the garden, striving for maximum diversity in an area about the size of a backyard (approximately 60’ x 60’).
