Heya everybody, how was your weekend?

Mine was fun, full of free and wonderful entertainment. Saturday morning I went with a pal to a free screening of the new Pixar movie Elemental. It turned out the screening was part of Frameline, the oldest and possibly biggest LGBTQ film festival in the country that is held here every June. Being as it's Pride month, the Castro is starting to get festive. The theater certainly was. I liked the film a lot. It was inventive and beautiful. Then we walked up Market Street, detouring to Hayes Valley for lunch, and then walked the rest of the way downtown to MOAD -- Museum of the African Diaspora -- where we took in a wonderful free concert of Black music and musicians to celebrate Juneteenth. Got home in time to watch the Giants blank the Dodgers in a glorious 15-0 romp.

Sunday I hiked up Montara Mountain (that's a bump for you Rocky Mountain folks) with my pal from Santa Cruz who took the picture above. Dinner with friends at our favorite pub, got home in time to watch the G's sweep the Bums last night.

Much walking today, and nearly a pint of Ben and Jerry's Americone Dream.

Am I retired yet? SOON.

In the meantime... Orcas are attacking boats!
