Today was former NBCUniversal advertising chief’s Linda Yaccarino’s first day as the CEO of Twitter. Hey, first days can be exciting! Deciding what to wear, figuring out where you park, getting your key badge — fun times!

Of course, Twitter under Elon Musk is not an ordinary place to work or what most might consider a “good time.” So it should surprise no one that Linda’s top of the inbox on day one would be a stern letter from four powerful U.S. Senators reminding her of the company’s considerable obligations — and the many ways they’re apparently already failing to do so.
