This week brought us news that Gordon Lightfoot had passed away. A tribute diary was done and can be found here. I chose to visit the year 2017 and showcase a singer who I grew up listening to and who passed away due to complications from Alzheimer’s: Glen Campbell and a song he co-wrote in 2014 “I’m not gonna miss you”. (This is part of the soundtrack to the documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll be me.)
