What if one could start taking it at 62 and then turn it off at 63. Maybe there’s been a life change; perhaps an inheritance or a new job is happening. For whatever reason if one were able to turn off their social security benefits for a year, two maybe forever, the system would end up growing because the Government wouldn’t be paying out. Perhaps this idea would take a while to catch on, but as it did the social security fund would grow greatly. I think this might be a trillion-dollar idea. I’d love to hear your feedback on this and if anyone thinks it’s a good idea — feel free to pass it along to the Biden Administration or the Social Security Administration. On another note I’m running for County Commissioner in a special election coming up right quick in Portland, Oregon.
