Crescent Lake is a very nice park in the middle of St Petersburg FL. It’s a nice place to walk around, see lots of birdies, and have a nice picnic lunch.

Some photos from an afternoon in the park.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.

The tennis courts are now filled with Pickleballers—which seems to me to be “pingpong played on a tennis court”

This Banyan Tree is several hundred years old

A couple of turtles relaxing. That thing they are on is a “water goat”, intended to confine trash that drains into the lake until it can be picked out.

A male Scaup and a pair of females. This colony comes here every winter.

Cormorants are very graceful swimmers, but not so graceful fliers
