Snakes are fine animals.

Censorship on Daily Kos? No usage of maggots when referring to MAGAS? I am dumbfounded. DK is an open forum, not much is disallowed; profanity abounds. But maggots? We then have to say that we can’t use snakes, or jackass or any of the other animals in a negative descriptive way for humans we don’t like, as that is denigrating to these animals as much as maggots. An animal like a snake which can be a keystone species, necessary to the environment. They have been getting a bad rap for centuries. So my question here is where do we draw the line. If we can’t use maggots, why then can we use these other animals in a descriptive way for humans that we don’t like? And the use of maggots for MAGAS quite succinctly describes who MAGAS are in reality. Ingesting maggots can make a person become very ill. The same can be said for being a MAGA.
