Before facing a judge, Perez Valdivia was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre, located just northwest of Miami International Airport. Perez Valdivia was out on bond after a previous incident where he was being charged for improper exhibition of a firearm. Perez Valdivia’s bond for shooting out of a Lamborghini was set at $112,000, but Perez Valdivia’s attorneys in court argued on Tuesday that he should face one count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle instead of 14, claiming that he only pulled the trigger once. The judge decided to reduce the bond to $2,500 for the first count and $1 for each of the remaining 13 counts. Furthermore, Perez Valdivia’s other charges for the incident had a bond of $1 each.
