Kennedy, 35th President of the United States. Although this brings back memories of that awful day in Dallas in 1963, it also reminds me of JFK’s good times, his wit, soaring speeches, leadership and vision. John F. Kennedy was not perfect and his flaws are well documented, but in terms of leadership he ranks at or near the top. His steely determination to stand off Russia during the Cuban Missile Crisis without destroying humanity is evidence of that. He also had a charisma that I have not seen since. Although nearly sixty years ago, his loss still reverberates today, along with the deaths of Robert F Kennedy and Martin Luther King. I have to believe we'd be in a far different place today had they lived. Great leaders don’t come along every day and here we had three. Imagine. “Anybody here see my old friend John? Can you tell me where he’s gone?
