We Can DO THIS

Dear Fellows,

As we all sit daily and read about the heartbreaking events unfolding in Ukraine, I know many people on DailyKos are frustrated, saddened, or angry, and very interested in doing SOMETHING to help, but don’t know how.

While not everyone can be on the ground to assist, there are many organizations—both locally in Ukraine, and international resource groups—that could really use donations. I have attempted to compile a list of organizations in-country and worldwide where our help is badly needed.

$17 billion dollars was spent on advertising and campaigns for the US midterms alone. How many meals is that? How many places of shelter? How many devastated lives uplifted? We can do more, each in their own way.

Thanks to those who can lend a helping hand in addition to a strident voice.

Be not afraid, and persevere!
