Raphael Warnock didn’t turn the other cheek after Kanye West endorsed his Republican rival, Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker. He hit back. Rev. Warnock has tried to take the high road as his Trump-backed rival has been engulfed in multiple scandals, including revelations about secret children and allegations by two women that he pressured them to terminate their pregnancies and paid for their abortions. But on Thursday, Warnock felt he had to fire back after the antisemitic West, who now goes by the name of Ye, endorsed Walker. On Sunday, West tweeted a photo of Walker with the caption “PRO LIFE.” So Warnock had something to say about this endorsement at a campaign stop on Thursday. Warnock said: “He recently received an endorsement from someone who spews awful antisemitic words, and who said that slavery is a choice. Well my mama told me that birds of a feather flock together.” "You know who he is based on the company that he keeps.Do you want somebody who's going to divide us or somebody who's going to bring us together? That's the work that I'm committed to doing." x Sen. On Oct. 7, a day after making anti-Jewish remarks on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show, West insinuated on Instagram that Jews are using their purported control over his peers in the music industry to intimidate him and declared that no one can threaten him. In a since deleted Tweet, West accused Jewish people of toying with him and said that they “tried to black ball anyone who opposes” their “agenda.” He then declared that he is “going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” Georgia’s other U.S. senator, Jon Ossoff, is Jewish. Warnock was also referring to controversial remarks made by West in 2018 in a TMZ interview. West said: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice. You was there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all."
