I’m a huge Jeopardy fan, so this might be my favorite gimmick beer ever. A Canadian brewery released a beer celebrating Canadian Jeopardy super-champion Mattea Roach, who is scheduled to appear in this season’s Tournament of Champions on Nov. 10.

Nova Scotians have shown their pride for 23-time “Jeopardy!” winner Mattea Roach since she first competed on the game show earlier this year -- and now they’re doing so with a special brew. Cape Breton-based Big Spruce Brewing recently released its “Who is Mattea Roach?” IPA. While Roach now lives in Toronto, she is originally from Halifax, and has family in Cape Breton.

I won’t be looking for this at Total Wine, they made only one 900-can batch which I’m sure was sold out before I saw the story.
