End of a Berlin Diary : 1944-1947 by William L. Shirer- Shirer covers the beginning of the Nuremberg Trials and rattles off and identifies the spectacle of the men in the docket

Much detail on lots of things from the Norwegian invasion to the date that HItler decided to go to war with America (April 4, 1941), more alleged assassination attempts on HItler by Hitler’s general and even an admira;...but one of the secret memos with Hitler, Ribbentrop, and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Molotov discussed the idea of Russia joining the Axis Powers in December 1940 has to be one of history’s great what ifs, especially given that planning for Operation Barbarossa (code name for the invasion of the Soviet Union) was already underway.
