Like most cities, Des Moines, Iowa, is built on a river: the Des Moines River runs right through downtown. Riverwalk Park runs along both riverbanks, giving a nice green space inside the city.

Some photos from a walk along the park.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently in Iowa.
