My Problem with Pro-Life [1]

Nick Anderson captures pro-lifer hypocrisy perfectly in this cartoon.

My problem with pro-life is this

It's something that folks really miss

They all are pro-gun

That gun kills someone

Yet they don't see something's amiss.

The pro-lifers really like war

Iraqis will pay they all swore

In twenty-oh-three

They shouted with glee,

"Kill lots of Iraqis galore".

If rape victims find they're with child

Ohio and Texas are wild

The woman must breed

With her monster's seed

The woman is thus twice defiled.

Pro-lifers are so awfully smug

Right into your womb they have dug

They do all agree

The fetus is key

But brush off born kids with a shrug.

The fetus will never complain

But poor children can be a pain

They need to be fed

Or they'll end up dead

So quickly our tax funds will drain.

They think every fetus is neat

It's always so perfect and sweet

But many miscarry

And have defects scary

Ignoring these truths is deceit.

All pro-lifers worth their own salt

Think pregnancy's all womens' fault

They don't even bother

To think of the father

Requires a brain somersault.

= = =

Pro-lifers have only one goal

Your womb must be in their control

You'd better cower

Because they've got power

For that a High Court seat they stole.
