SCOTUS takes case that could end democracy. Yes, really. [1]

Heard about this last night and was surprised that there were no diaries about it yet. The short of it is: SCOTUS has agreed to hear a case that could give state legislatures the authority to directly control elections.

This is the big one. Yes really. For real. Right now. The case is Moore v. Harper.
