Alito/Kavanaugh to Pro-Choice Movement: Dobbs Will Become Super-Precedent Absent Massive Resistance [1]

And so the Court made it clear to pro-choice advocates what they must do: assure that the controversy continues, exhibit massive resistance to the Dobbs decision, and take whatever measures are necessary to roil politics with their opposition to the Dobbs decision .

According to Alito/Kavanaugh, a massive overreaction to the Dobbs decision and an ongoing controversy will give future, pro-choice justices on the SC a predicate for overruling Dobbs , to end the "controversy”, just as the controversy over Roe formed a basis for overruling Roe and Casey.

So when Fox, and the Wall Street Journal, and every single elected Republican representative in Congress decries an alleged “over-reaction” or “violent” response to the overruling of Roe v. Wade, tell them to bring up their concerns with Alito, Kavanaugh and the rest of the Supreme Court radicals. It’s their playbook, not ours. If an ongoing national controversy is essential to ditching stare decisis and overruling longstanding precedents, then the Supreme Court has left pro-choice advocates no choice. Pro-choice advocates must adopt the anti-abortion playbook.

I’m not saying that pro-choice advocates must start bombing buildings or assassinating people, like anti-abortion zealots have done (although Alito/Kavanaugh/Barrett et al may exploit the lack of violence from the left to argue that no real national controversy existed). But the resistance to Dobbs must be massive, public, political and legislative. At the same time there are thousands on the streets, there must also be legislation in Congress and in every state to codify the holding of Roe v. Wade.
