Watch as severe turbulence turns a Miami-bound plane around [1] ['Jason Weisberger'] Date: 2024-11-21 A Scandinavian Airlines flight from Stockholm to Miami encountered terrifying turbulence. Back in the early 1990s, I was regaling a friend with tales of how slapped together the global internet infrastructure was. My friend worked at a facility that made parts for passenger aircraft and he told me it was a miracle airplanes didn't fall out of the sky every day. Boeing seems to have been working hard to make that a reality. I have not been very enthusiastic about air travel since the pandemic. I hope Sam made it home OK.
