If you use too much egg white, the macaroons will become very flat when baking them. + 500g sugar + 500g ground hazelnuts + Whole hazelnuts (one for each macaroon) - Instructions + Beat egg whites until stiff. + Stir in sugar. + Stir in ground hazelnuts.
