Petri Heinonen queries from far-off Finland:
>When and where is this Kate's live performance (which I have on videotape
>with quite poor quality) recorded:
> Kate sings Hounds of Love (I'm not sure is it playback or not).
> Del Palmer plays a synthesizer and Paddy a cello (or whatever it is
> called in English :-). The place looks like a big restaurant with many
> round tables and bright blue lights. Kate is wearing a long dress.

this is from the (89?) British Music Awards show. i'm pretty certain that
it *is* lip-synched (i.e. "playback"); regardless, the sound was rotten.

re GIFs: i'm in the process of downloading all the GIF files from alaska
(for use in this KaTemas installation thingum). while i'm at it, i
might as well catalog them... does anyone know where to FTP one of those
auto-GIF-catalogers; you know, the kind that makes a big GIF out off
a group of files, with captions and all? thanks!

footah!
