   No.  The Display Enhancer (both the DE for the A2000 and the one built-in
on the A3000) would require a redesign to work with the 1280 x XXX resolution
modes.  

   This is one of my beefs with the A3000.  Commodore spent millions of 
dollars fabricating the ECS Denise with these new resolution modes, and 
then does not support them with their flicker-eliminating display device.
I wish Commodore would have designed the A3000's built-in DE to support
these modes or, at the very least, designed the more expensive standalone
DE for the A2000 to support these resolution modes.
