I am trying to compile v4.9 of JOVE using MS C 6.0

I grabbed NDMAKE and then just ran it hoping that it would compile to an
executable program. However, a large problem came up:

After all the files have been compiled to object code, the makefile crashes
because it tries to feed MAKE (ND Or NMAKE) with a command for the linker
which gives:

Arg list too long. STOP.

It turns out that it tries to feed the linker with about 6 lines of files
and switches to work with.

Is there a way to split the link command up, or should I use another MAKE
program...?

[If possible, PLEASE send replies to storm@sizone.UUCP - Thanks]
