I've put G. Kuiken's English hyphenation patterns (a superset of
hyphen.tex, as I understand it) on

ftp.cs.umb.edu [192.12.26.23]:pub/tex/ushyphen.*.

You will need an extended hyphenation trie to use ushyphen.max, which
finds ``all admissible hyphens in TUGboat's ``Exception Log''.

You can use the standard hyphenation trie with the file ushyphen.add,
which doesn't find all admissible hyphens, but it finds more than
hyphen.tex does.
