Here's my list of 'commonly available' stuff - it excludes things like
16 Mb DRAM chips which exist but I don't believe are yet for sale. If anyone
knows differently, please correct me.

EPROM:	4Mb: 512k x 8
DRAM:	4Mb: 1M x 4, 4M x 1
SRAM:	1Mb: 128k x 8

If you can't buy in volume from the reps, one source I found that has
a very wide selection of memory devices is Microprocessors Unlimited
(strange name since mostly they sell RAM :-), 918-267-4961. Their prices
for the above are $55, $28, and $26.

Hitachi has an 1120 x 780 LCD module with a dot pitch of 0.205 mm and
dimensions of 316 x 230 x 31 mm (part # LMG9001ZZZ). I don't know if this
is state of the art or what. I've seen some Canon FLC (ferroelectric LC)
prototype displays which have much higher resolution but these are not yet
in production. 640 x 480 displays are common, with dot pitches around .30
or less.
