Greetings,

This will probably prove to be quite an ignorant question, but being
a novice to data bases...Please, don't flame!!!

	QUESTION:

Would anyone know if clipper 5.0 provides any facilities for encrypting (or password-protecting) the .dbf files? My particular problem is based on a need to create database files that could only be modified by specific (privileged) applications.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Since, as I suspect, this is a trivial matter quite too basic for the scope of this group, you are welcome to respond to my personal address.
