Greetings from a former MIT student in dire straits!

THE SITUATION:

I have a VAXStation 3100 running VMS 5.4.

I have an X Display Station (XDS) made by my company, Visual
Technology, running an X server under C-EXEC. The XDS uses the
MC68020.

I must write an application that converts SNF files generated by VMS's
FONT utility to SNF files characterized by the BDFTOSNF program in the
X11R4 source tree.

THE PROBLEM:

When the VMS utility, FONT, compiles a BDF file, it does not include
the characters glyphs in the resulting SNF (DECW$FONT) file. I have
spent nearly a week trying to figure out where VMS keeps those #@$*!
glyphs. Please tell me where they are.

Thanx
