You need to edit the kernel config file scsi_data.c and look
at the settings on the RZxx drive def'n. Unlike most of the DEC
SCSI drives, you will notice that it doesn't have the flag
'SCSI_TRYSYNC'. If you put that in there and rebuild your kernel
you should be just fine.

What we did was to actually define all of our 3rd party drives
(CDC Wren 5, 6 & 7) when we got them. So now we have devices
like: RZW5, RZW6, RZW7, etc... its pretty easy to do...
