 Hi.

 I'm seriously thinking about home network environment for my Amiga. I have
A3000/16 (2MB CHIP, 4MB FAST) and SAS C 5.10a and would like to hook it up
to NeXT for resource sharing plus TCP/IP software development. Eventually
I might get 040 coprocessor then AmigaUNIX when they are available in the
market, but I would stick to AmigaDOS for the time being. Under the said
circumstances, i have several concerns on acquiring these.

Ethernet board(A2065):
 (1) Is it possible to use thin ethernet cable ? [I saw 3000UX two months
     ago, but i'm not sure it was a BNC connector.]

TCP/IP software(AS225):
 (2) Can I rmount AmigaDOS file systems on UNIX partitions ? [I heard NFS
     supports only client side, so this should be yes.]

 (3) Can I rlogin/telnet/ftp to AmigaDOS from UNIX side ? [As AmigaDOS
     is a true multitask OS, this should be a cake.]

Development Kit
 (4) How can i get a developers' environment such as libraries and technical
     docs ? [I hope they are part of AS225 though.]

 (5) What is its interface like ? I haven't experienced TCP/IP other than UNIX
     platform.

Upgrade plan
 (6) What are pros and cons of AmigaDOS as a platform instead of AmigaUNIX ?
     I believe AmigaDOS servers outperforms on the corresponding UNIX ones,
     if they are programmed properly,

 (7) Are there other tips which I should know before hand provided I upgrade
     to either 040, AmigaUNIX or both. ?

Misc.
 (8) Are there any PDS which I can take advantage of from my investment ?
     [ I heard both AmigaNOS and Amiga-X11 require TCP/IP software, but I'm
     noy sure of the exact requirement.]

 I would like to appreciate any help. Especially comments from real users
are much helpful. Thanks in advance.
