I am not speculating. I have used 2.0, and I know for a solid fact
that it does not have device-independent graphics. If getting these
video cards to work with Workbench and Intuition was as simple as writing
a 2.0 display-driver, then why hasn't anyone written any 2.0 display
drivers for the HAM-E, Colorburst, DCTV, or Video Toaster? The reason
is that the concept of the monitors drawer with display drivers will
eventually be expanded to full device-independent graphics, but it is
not capable of DIG right now.
