Which windowing system will give me the most bang for the buck
on a 286 with 4 MB of XMS configured memory?

The QuaterDeck people tell me that DV will not use the extra memory.
Will it, or will MS Windows 3.0.

I also would like to run an alternate shell (MKS ksh.exe) versus
the default command.com.

What is the best system.

Basically what I would like to do is have three windows.

Jove (Emacs like editor)
MKS shell
Kermit to a Unix box (2400 baud)

Looking for Advice.
(and not enough money to by a 386 board)
