Does anyone out there know of an optical character recognition program which
can do the following?:

   (1) Work with non-English characters (specifically, Greek)

   (2) Handle heavily accented text, separating accents from characters

   (3) Convert the non-English accented character image into two characters,
one for the letter, and one for the accent (i.e., two ASCII codes)

I would like to scan some Greek text, in addition to English text. Every word
in Greek has at least one accent, and I would like to retain these. I will
not buy a scanner or any OVR software until I know whether I can do this.

Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions.
